NAIA Women’s Wrestling Championships Preview
WICHITA, Kan. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) will host the 2025 Women's Wrestling National Championships this weekend in Wichita, Kansas. Midland University will have three athletes competing and is one of 35 schools represented at this year's championships, which will be held inside Park City Arena on March 14-15.
Emily Paulino, Keira Nartatez, and Makena Schramm will grapple for the Warriors. Paulino will compete at 124 pounds with a first round matchup against Ellabelle Taylor of Evergreen State. Nartatez is wrestling at 131 pounds and will take on third-seeded Xochitl Mota-Pettis of Missouri Valley in her opening bout. Schramm's first round opponent will be Lisa Hoeflich of Hastings in the 145 pound bracket.
