Bio

Nate Mongan is a veteran member of the Midland volleyball coaching staff, serving as an assistant coach since the 2009 season. In addition to his role with the Warriors, Mongan continues to coach with Premier Volleyball Club in Omaha, where he has led teams at the 16, 17, and 18-year-old levels. Since 2005, his teams have qualified for the Junior Olympic National Championships every year. Notably, in 2015, his 17-year-old squad placed fifth at Nationals and featured a player named to the American All-Tournament Team.

Mongan has also coached at the high school level, guiding Mead High School to a Class D1 state tournament semifinal appearance in 2006 and 2007.

He and his wife, Sarah, live in Mead with their two sons. Nate works as a claims manager for The Hartford Insurance Company in Omaha, while Sarah practices as a veterinarian at a small animal clinic in Omaha.
