Johnson Earns Weekly GPAC Track Honors

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its women's outdoor track & field athletes of the week for events held March 18-24, 2024. Myia Johnson of Midland University was named the GPAC Track Athlete of the Week while Abigail Gerber of Concordia University earned field honors.

Johnson, a senior from Fremont, Nebraska, was the runner-up in the 5000m race at the Fort Hays State Spring Invite with a time of 21:19.60. She also competed in the 1500m race, placing 15th with a time of 5:22.54 as the outdoor season kicked off for the Warriors.
