Fanton Earns Weekly Conference Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its tennis players of the week for March 25-31, 2024. Midland University's Elaina Fanton was selected as the GPAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Fanton, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, was unbeaten on the court in doubles and singles play this week. She teamed with Ari Lumanog a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles and then won her No. 2 singles match in straight sets (6-4, 6-1) as Midland improved to 2-0 in conference play.
