Khmelevskaia Named GPAC Player of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced that Kristina Khmelevskaia of Midland University has earned this week's women's tennis player of the week for events held April 24-30, 2023.

Khmelevskaia, a senior from Vladivostok, Russia, was clutch for Midland this week. She battled to win a three-set match on Monday against Morningside to win the GPAC regular season championship. Later in the week, she went 4-0 to help guide the Warriors to a GPAC tournament championship. Once again, she earned a hard-fought battle at No. 2 versus Morningside in the title match.
