Lumanog Earns GPAC Player of the Week Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced this week's tennis players of the week for March 20-26, 2023. Ari Lumanog of Midland University was named the GPAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Lumanog, a senior from Albuquerque, New Mexico, helped guide Midland to a sweep of Simpson on the road this week. Teaming with Kristina Khmelevskaia, they set the tone at No. 1 doubles with a 6-0 win. In singles action, she won in straight sets at No. 1s. The win was historic for the Warriors as it marked the 100th career win for head coach Bruno Campos.
