Midland Earns Five Wins in Dual Loss to Minnesota Morris
FREMONT, Neb. — Midland University continued its season on Saturday with a dual meet against the University of Minnesota Morris. The Warriors earned five first-place finishes but fell to the Cougars, 178–67.
Midland won five of 15 events, with Brisa Mills accounting for three of those victories. Mills won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:05.02 before taking first in both the 100- and 50-yard freestyle events. She edged the field in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.94 seconds and followed that with a 57.21 in the 100-yard freestyle.
Aria Feit won the other two events for the Warriors, finishing first in both the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races with times of 2:06.95 and 5:48.90, respectively.
The Warriors will return to the pool Nov. 7–8 to compete in the Kearney Invitational in Kearney, Nebraska.
