Pair of Warriors Compete at Crestview Invite
WICHITA, Kan. – Midland University took to the course on Monday and Tuesday as two Warriors competed individually in the Crestview Spring Invitational. Junior Brooklyn Reynolds and sophomore Jocelyn Kumm represented Midland in a field of 30 golfers.
Kumm opened her first round with back-to-back pars before encountering some struggles, finishing with a 111 (+40). She bounced back on Tuesday, improving by one stroke with a second-round 110 (+39) to place 27th overall with a total score of 221 (+79).
Reynolds matched her teammate's first-round score of 111 (+40) but faced challenges in the second round, carding a 125 (+54). She finished the tournament in 29th place with a total score of 236 (+94).
Midland will return to competition on April 1-2 at the Concordia Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska.
