Warriors Battle Tough Conditions, Place Seventh at Nebraska Intercollegiate
HASTINGS, Neb. – Midland University returned to the golf course this week, competing in the Nebraska Intercollegiate at Lochland Country Club on Friday and Saturday. The Warriors finished seventh as a team after two rounds, posting a total score of 875 (+299).
Windy conditions on Saturday made play difficult for the entire field. Midland's Jocelyn Kumm finished 30th with a total score of 200 (+56) for the event. Olivia Fedde followed in 32nd place, shooting 208 (+64), with Isabel Brown just behind in 33rd, finishing with a score of 230 (+86). Brooklyn Reynolds rounded out Midland's team in 34th place with a score of 237 (+93), while MaKenna Scholting finished 35th with a score of 317 (+173).
Bellevue University claimed the team title with a total score of 617 (+41), and the individual title also went to Bellevue's Tilde-Li Andersson, who shot 150 (+6).
Midland will return to action on October 14-15 for the Battle at the Dance in Windsor, Colorado, at Raindance National Golf Club.
