Warriors Finish Third at Mount Marty Invite

YANKTON, S.D. – Midland University was back in action at the Mount Marty Invite event this week. The Warriors placed third in the two-day, 36-hole event, that was played on Monday and Tuesday at Tatanka Golf Course. Dakota Wesleyan University won the event while Mount Marty University finished second. The Tigers won the event by 24 strokes with a score of 687 while the Warriors shot a combined score of 943.

Jocelyn Kumm had the best outing for Midland, finishing in 13th place with a score of 210 (+66), and Olivia Fedde fell closely behind finishing 14th carding a score of 214 (+70). Rounding out the lineup were Isabel Brown and Brooklyn Reynolds with scores of 257 (+113) and 262 (+118), respectively.

Up next for Midland will be back the Nebraska Intercollegiate in Hastings, Nebraska at Lochland Country Club. The Warriors will join several other college teams from various levels for the meet beginning on Friday, October 4.
