Warriors Compete at KCAC Championship
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Midland University returned to the lanes over the weekend, competing in the KCAC Championship in Sioux City, Iowa. The Warriors, who entered the double-elimination tournament as the No. 5 seed, finished tied for fifth out of nine teams.
Midland opened the tournament with a win over No. 4 seed Hastings before falling to No. 8 seed Saint Mary, dropping into the consolation bracket. The Warriors were then eliminated after a loss to top-seeded Ottawa, finishing tied for fifth with Hastings.
No. 2 seed Morningside went undefeated in four matches to claim the KCAC Championship, defeating Kansas Wesleyan, McPherson, and Saint Mary before knocking off Ottawa in the final.
Midland will return to action March 7-9 at the USBC Sectionals in Addison, Illinois.
