Petrick Earns GPAC Pitcher of the Week Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced the softball player and pitcher of the week for contests played March 17-23, 2025. Campbell Petrick of Midland University was selected as the GPAC Pitcher of the Week while Lauren Steenstra of Dordt University earned player honors.

Petrick, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, went the distance in her lone start this week at Nebraska Wesleyan. Pitching for the first time as a collegian in her hometown, she went 7.0 innings with no runs allowed while striking out six batters. She showcased her glove as well with three assists as a fielder.
