Warriors Place Fifth at Platte River Rumble
ASHLAND, Neb. – Midland University faced tough conditions at the Platte River Rumble on Friday, contending with 20 mph winds to place fifth overall. The Warriors sent seven runners to the meet, with Lucas Hjortkjaer leading the team with a time of 27:11.92, good for 25th place.
Henri Stoeckermann was the second finisher for Midland, crossing the line in 41st place with a time of 27:45.40. Jonathan Mahoney followed in 61st (28:42.42), while Kelvin Korir finished 67th (28:57.56). Rounding out the Warriors' competitors were Braden Taylor (79th, 29:49.77), Felix Grave (82nd, 30:00.49), and Adrian Imm (97th, 32:30.83).
Midland's next race will be the Mount Marty Invite, scheduled for Thursday, October 24, in Yankton, South Dakota.
