NAIA Men’s Wrestling Championships Preview
WICHITA, Kan. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) will host the 2025 Men's Wrestling National Championships on March 6-8 in Wichita, Kansas. Midland University is one of 54 schools represented at this year's championships, with Burton Brandt and Zeph Sivels set to compete inside Park City Arena.
Brandt, a senior from Unadilla, Nebraska, placed third at the conference championships at 197 pounds, while Sivels, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, finished third at 285 pounds. Both wrestlers earned seeds in their respective preliminary brackets—Brandt is seeded No. 9, and Sivels is No. 15.
The NAIA released the preliminary brackets late last week, which can be found [LINK]. Final brackets and matchups will be confirmed before the competition begins Thursday morning.
