Sivels Named GPAC Wrestler of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its men's wrestler of the week for contests from November 4-10, 2024. Midland University's Zeph Sivels earned this week's GPAC Wrestling of the Week as voted on by the conference's sports information directors.

Sivels, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, picked up two wins over ranked opponents in GPAC duals this week. On Wednesday, he used a last-period takedown to upset 17th-ranked Mason Garcia of Concordia, 4-1, at home. On Friday, he edged past 16th-ranked Eli Criblez of Doane, 2-1, on the road.
