Warriors Compete at Concordia Collegiate
SEWARD, Neb. – Midland University competed in the USA Powerlifting CUNE Collegiate Meet on Saturday, finishing with five individual champions.
Delilah Garcia took first in the women's 48kg raw collegiate category with a total of 275 kilograms. KayD Leal claimed first place in the women's 56kg raw collegiate division with a total of 345 kilograms.
In the men's 75kg raw collegiate division, Hayden Cantrell finished second with a total of 490 kilograms. Midland dominated the 90kg category, sweeping the podium. Mario Martin earned first place with 625 kilograms, followed by Michael Garza (617.5 kg) and Kaden Chase (592.5 kg) in second and third, respectively.
In the 100kg division, Kyle Gorman took first place with a total of 600 kilograms, while Jesus Espino placed third with 542.5 kilograms. Dominic Constant won the 110kg category with a total of 655 kilograms.
In the 125kg division, Caden Jones finished second with a total of 637.5 kilograms.
