ORLANDO, Fla. – Midland University dropped a 6-1 non-conference decision to St. Thomas University on Thursday in men's tennis action.

The Bobcats secured the doubles point with wins at all three positions. The Warriors' closest result came at No. 2 doubles, where Marcin Gniadzik and Unai Llerena fell by a score of 6-4.

Midland's lone point of the match came at No. 2 singles as Martin Cisneros rallied for a 3-6, 7-5, 10-6 victory over Ivan Menendez in a match-deciding super tiebreak. St. Thomas claimed straight-set victories in the remaining five singles contests to seal the team win.

The Warriors' second match of the day, against Southeastern, was cancelled due to the weather. Midland will return to action against Connecticut College on Friday before returning home.
