Janssen Earns GPAC Weekly Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced that Tycho Janssen of Midland University has earned this week's men's tennis player of the week for events held April 24-30, 2023.

Janssen, a junior from Nijmegen, Netherlands, helped the Warriors to an outright regular-season championship and a tournament championship in the GPAC this week. He was unbeaten in doubles play (2-0) alongside Luca Struffi and won all three of his singles matches. In the conference tournament, he won both singles matches in straight sets, including a thrilling double tie-breaker win to help clinch Midland's fourth straight tournament championship.
