Starman Earns GPAC Player of the Week Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced this week's tennis players of the week for April 10-16, 2023. Midland University's Benjamin Starman was selected from a pool of players at the GPAC Men's Player of the Week.

Starman, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, was unbeaten this past week as the Warriors blanked a pair of conference foes. He won in straight sets in both of his No. 2 singles matches and won both of his No. 1 doubles matches alongside Joren Stevens. This season, he has a 12-5 record in singles play, including a stellar 10-1 mark at No. 2s.
