Warriors Wrap up Season at NAIA Championships
ELKHART, Ind. – Midland University competed in the pool for the final time this season, taking part in the 2025 NAIA Championships in Elkhart, Indiana. The Warriors placed 18th as a team, with just three swimmers competing in the four-day event held inside the Elkhart Aquatics Center.
Zander Livingston led the way for the Warriors, qualifying for two finals races and earning a top-five finish. He placed 11th in the 100-yard breaststroke preliminaries with a time of 55.90 seconds before matching that placement in the finals, improving his time to 55.72. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Livingston placed fifth in the preliminaries with a time of 2:02.39 to advance to the finals, where he improved to 2:01.73, finishing fourth and earning NAIA All-America honors for the third time in his career. He also competed in the 200-yard individual medley preliminaries, narrowly missing the finals with a 17th-place finish in 1:53.01.
Martin Sener also qualified for two backstroke finals. He placed 15th in the 100-yard preliminaries with a time of 49.97 seconds and 16th in the 200-yard with a time of 1:51.79. In the finals, he finished 16th in the 100-yard race with a time of 51.17 seconds before improving nearly two seconds in the 200-yard, placing 13th with a time of 1:50.03. Sener also competed in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing 44th with a time of 22.23 seconds.
Jeremi Aubin rounded out the Warriors' competitors, swimming in the 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard individual medley preliminaries. He placed 23rd in the 200 fly with a time of 1:54.67 and 19th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:08.63 but did not qualify for the finals.
