Bio

Ari Galvan-Brasesco was named head coach of the Midland University men’s soccer program in 2026, bringing more than a decade of experience in player development, recruiting and program leadership at the youth, club and collegiate levels.

Galvan-Brasesco joins Midland after serving as an assistant coach at Iowa Western Community College, where he supported a nationally competitive program. His responsibilities included training implementation, match preparation, opponent analysis, recruiting coordination and day-to-day program operations. He also led positional training sessions and contributed to the team’s overall tactical development.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Galvan-Brasesco has held leadership roles in the club soccer landscape. He serves as Director of Coaching and head coach with Evolution Soccer Club, where he oversees curriculum development, coach mentorship and player progression across multiple age groups. He has guided teams competing at the Boys National League level against top regional and national competition.

Galvan-Brasesco has also been a staff coach with the Nebraska Olympic Development Program since 2019, working with elite athletes across various age groups and helping facilitate high-level training environments focused on technical and tactical growth.

He is the founder of Tangol Fútbol Training, a private training program centered on individual player development. Through his work, he has designed and delivered training sessions that emphasize technique, decision-making and overall game intelligence.

A bilingual coach fluent in English and Spanish, Galvan-Brasesco is committed to a holistic approach to student-athlete development, focusing on growth both on and off the field.

Galvan-Brasesco earned a Master of Science in Coaching Education from Ohio University in 2023 and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from DePaul University in 2018. He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) C License and is currently working toward his USSF B License.
