Meier Named to All-Conference Second Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and postseason award winners this week. Each of the teams and award recipients were selected by the Heart head coaches. Midland University's Carson Meier was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Meier, a senior attacker from Omaha, Nebraska, led the Warriors in nearly every offensive category this season. He recorded 29 goals and four assists for 33 points, with 64 shots on goal. He ranked 15th in the conference in goals and 30th in points. During the year, he set a new Midland single-game scoring record with seven goals against Missouri Valley. He finished his collegiate career with 80 goals scored.
William Penn's Luke Christiansen was named Coach of the Year, while Breck Putzier, also from William Penn, earned Player of the Year honors. Other conference award winners included Ray Lingard of Missouri Baptist (Newcomer of the Year); Vinny DeMarco of William Woods and Putzier (Co-Offensive Players of the Year); Eli Hahn of St. Ambrose and Max Standage of William Penn (Co-Defensive Players of the Year); Garrett Katrana of William Penn (Freshman of the Year); and Joseph Ceto of William Woods (Assistant Coach of the Year).
