Fall Season Concludes with Fourth Place Finish

WINDSOR, Colo. – Midland University was back on the golf course for the final time this fall as it competed at The Battle at the Dance, held at RainDance National Golf Course. The Warriors finished fourth in the two-day, three-round event, posting a team score of +55. The highlight of the tournament was Ben Ngelingkong's strong performance, finishing sixth overall.

Ngelingkong opened with an impressive first round, shooting a 3-under-par 69, which included five birdies. He completed the tournament with a total score of +4 (220) after his final two rounds, earning sixth place individually. Janlo Zaayman was the next top finisher for the Warriors, tying for 12th place with a total score of +9 (225). He shot a consistent +2 (74) in each of his last two rounds.

Cole Wilson placed 27th, ending his final round with a +4 (76) on Tuesday for a three-round total of +20 (236). Trevin Cunningham followed closely behind, tying for 31st with a total score of +26. Rounding out the Warriors' lineup was Santiago Nieto, who finished 45th with a score of +35 (251).

Hastings College claimed the team title with a total score of +7, edging out Rocky Mountain College by one stroke after shooting an impressive 8-under-par in the final round. Hastings' Gabe Escalera captured the individual title by a commanding eight strokes, finishing at 9-under-par (207) for the tournament, highlighted by scores of 5-under (67) in his first and third rounds.

With the fall season complete, the Warriors now look ahead to resuming competition in the spring.
