Warriors Fade at Midwest Spring Invite
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Midland University was back on the links this week as they took to the course at Colbert Hills for the Midwest Spring National Invite. The Warriors joined 14 other schools from the region for 54 holes on the course just outside of Manhattan, Kansas. After a strong start to the tournament, Midland faded over the final two rounds to place 14th with a score of 935 (+71). Winning the team title was MidAmerica Nazarene University with a score of 870 (+6).
Ethan Blair led the charge for the Warriors with an impressive outing, finishing tied for 9th individually. Blair carded a score of 219 (+3) across the tournament. Following closely behind was Ben Ngelingkong, who secured a share of 26th place with a score of 226 (+10).
The remainder of the Warriors' lineup included Cole Wilson (244, +28), Tylen Jakub (247, +31), and Brady Davis (255, +39).
Up next on the schedule for Midland is the 2024 Great Plains Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship. The two-day, 54-hole championship will be held on April 29-30 at the Beatrice Country Club in Beatrice, Nebraska.
