Warriors Place Ninth at Rain-Shortened Osage Invite
LAKE OZARK, Mo. (AP) — After battling unfavorable weather conditions on Monday, Midland University competed in the shortened Osage National Spring Invite on Tuesday at the Osage National Golf Course. The Warriors placed 9th in the field of 12 teams from around the region with a team score of 321 (+33).
Ben Ngelingkong emerged as a standout performer for the Warriors, carding a round of 76 (+4), positioning himself in a tie for 8th place alongside six others, all trailing the leaders by three strokes.
Cole Wilson contributed to the team's efforts, securing the 21st spot with a score of 78 (+6), while Brady Dvies followed closely behind, claiming the 42nd position with an 82 (+10).
Completing the Midland lineup were Jaylin Jakub with an 83 (+11), Billy Lyons with an 85 (+13), Ethan Blair with an 86 (+14), and Trevin Cunningham with a score of 90 (+18).
Up next for Midland will be the Midwest Spring National Invite on April 8-9. The event will be held in Manhattan, Kansas at Colbert Hills Golf Course.
