Warriors Open Spring with Seventh Place at 4HIM Classic

MANSFIELD, Texas – Midland University opened its spring schedule on Monday and Tuesday as the 4HIM Classic hosted by Dallas Christian College in Mansfield, Texas. The Warriors posted a team score of 627 over the two rounds of competition to place 7th in the field of 13 teams.

Friends University emerged victorious, claiming the team title with an impressive score of 594.

Ethan Blair led the charge for Midland, as he showcased consistency with rounds of 76 and 76, securing a total score of 152 and a tie for 11th place individually.

The rest of Midland's lineup featured strong performances from Ben Ngelingkong, who tied for 21st place with a total score of 155. Jacob Hellman finished in a tie for 30th place, carding a 157. Billy Lyons and Cole Wilson both finished in a tie for 47th place with identical scores of 164.

Competing as an individual, Brady Davis made a notable impact, securing a 9th-place finish with a total score of 150.

Up next for Midland will be the Battle at the Dance out in Windsor, Colorado in a few weeks. The Warriors will compete against a strong field of teams at the RainDance National Golf Course on Monday, March 18, and Tuesday, March 19. The course is hailed as the longest golf course in North America.
