Warriors Place Fifth at McKendree Challenge
FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. – Midland University traveled over the weekend to compete in the McKendree Baker Challenge in Fairview Heights, Illinois. In a field of 12 colleges, the Warriors placed fifth with a total pinfall of 7,600 after 40 Baker games.
Midland recorded a team-high score of 252 in its 21st game and surpassed 200 in 13 games, averaging 190 across the event.
Wichita State University claimed first place with a total pinfall of 8,503, followed by McKendree (8,138), Newman (8,108), and Lindenwood (8,099).
The Warriors will return to action next weekend, traveling to Indianapolis for the Hoosier Classic on Feb. 15-16.
