Warriors Earn NABC Team Academic Excellence Award; Eight Named to Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) recently announced the recipients of its 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court. Midland University earned the team award, while eight Warriors were recognized individually for their academic achievements.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Midland's NABC Honors Court selections were:

  • Alec Noonan, junior, accounting
  • Brody Travis, junior, financial services
  • Butch Lordeus, senior, business intelligence and technology
  • Isaiah Smith, senior, business administration
  • Jake Orr, senior, financial services
  • Jeff Rozelle, junior, business intelligence and technology
  • Luke Gdowski, graduate student, sports administration and leadership
  • Nick Dolezal, senior, business administration

The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who completed the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

More than 2,300 student-athletes earned spots on the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court, while more than 400 programs received Team Academic Excellence Awards. The NABC presents its academic awards annually to teams and student-athletes across all levels of college basketball.
