"It was a tough road game tonight. I know the result wasn't what we were looking for, but we went toe-to-toe with the No. 1 team in our league. I thought tonight was the best we've played offensively in a few weeks, especially while dealing with numerous injuries and a lot of adversity.

Jake was a true warrior tonight and scored the ball really well.

We have to be better defensively in the second half. There were a few possessions where they went on a four-minute run and hit back-to-back 3-pointers that opened up the game.

Our margin for error is small, but we had great energy on the road tonight. We need to replicate that over our last five games." commented head coach Tyler Erwin.

Midland (10-13, 6-9 GPAC) will travel to Hastings, Nebraska, on Wednesday, Feb. 4, to face Hastings College (5-18, 4-11 GPAC). Tipoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
