Nunez Named KCAC Defender of the Week

WICHITA, Kan. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) announced its women's flag football players of the week on Monday evening. Cheyenne Brooks of the University of Saint Mary and Mikaela Nunez of Midland University have earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 11-17, 2024 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

Nunez, a senior from Las Vegas, Nevada, led the Warriors with eight solo tackles as they picked up a pair of shutout wins over Southwestern and Baker.
