Bio
Brighton Hill, a Cleveland, Ohio native, was named the football strength and conditioning coordinator and safeties coach at Midland University in the spring of 2023. He comes to Midland from Bethel University-Tennessee where he was the director of sports performance and game day operations.
Coach Hill served as director of sports performance and the director of game day operations at Bethel. He oversaw the Wildcat’s 22 sports teams’ performance programming and oversaw the design and building of a brand-new weight room facility. In 2022, Bethel went undefeated during the regular season, winning the Mid-South Conference Championship.
Before coaching at Bethel, Coach Hill spent two years at Campbellsville University where he served as a defensive line coach from 2020-2022 seasons. He has also coached collegiately at Lake Erie College, Missouri Baptist University, Arkansas State University, Baldwin Wallace University, and the University of South Carolina.
Other stops for Hill include Gray Collegiate Academy in Columbia, S.C., and Hilton Head Christian Academy (S.C.).
Coach Hill graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology and is currently in graduate school at Campbellsville studying justice studies with an emphasis in leadership and social justice.
