Davis Joins Warriors’ Football Staff

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University head football coach Jeff Jamrog has announced the addition of Adrian Davis to the Warriors' coaching staff. Davis joins the football program as the defensive line coach and brings with him a wealth of coaching experience.

Prior to getting into coaching, Davis was a standout at the University of Arkansas where he was a three-year starter at defensive end/linebacker (2006-2010). He earned All-Freshman SEC honors as a true freshman in 2006 and was named a team captain during his senior season. He was also named the Razorbacks' Defensive Player of the Year in 2009-10.

Following a professional career that included a stop with the St. Louis Rams (NFL) and with the Nebraska Danger (IFL), Coach Davis began coaching at the high school level in Nebraska. After spending time coaching the defensive line at Grand Island Northwest and Burke High Schools, he returned to the Danger as the defensive line and special teams coordinator. Coach Davis' most recent stops in his coaching career have been with Buena Vista University and with the Las Vegas Knighthawks.

"I'm very happy to welcome Adrian Davis to our football program as the new defensive line coach. Adrian brings quality and experience not only as a high caliber player during his University of Arkansas and NFL career but also as a very respected coach and recruiter," commented Coach Jamrog. "I know he will be a great role model and teacher for our players, both on and off the field - showing them how to not only be successful student-athletes but also successful people."

In 2023, Midland went 6-5 overall and was 5-5 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Since 2016, the Warriors have been the winningest college football team in Nebraska (52-32, .619), among all divisions, with a winning season each year.
