Warriors Picked First in GPAC Preseason Poll
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Dance Preseason Poll has been released. Midland University was picked to win the conference once again, a year after winning its third NAIA National Championship in 2005.
The Warriors are the coaches' pick, tallying 64 points and all eight first-place votes. Doane was picked second with 53 points. Morningside rounds out the top three with 48 points. Nine GPAC teams will compete in Dance this season.
Midland will begin its season on February 7 when it competes in the Concordia Invitation in Seward, Nebraska. The Warriors will host a handful of teams at their annual Midland Invitational on Saturday, February 21, inside the Wikert Event Center.
