"Obviously, this isn't the way we wanted the season to end, especially for this senior class," commented head coach Jake McThenia. "They have been through the highs and lows, but I know they gave it their all this week. As a collective group, we all know we left a lot of targets out there that could've closed the gap. This season has been one of our best as a whole, and I am proud of all of our athletes for what they accomplished—both individually and as a team."
