Warriors Earn Pair of Fourth-Place Finishes at Grand View Invitational
DES MOINES, Iowa — Midland University traveled to Des Moines to compete in the Grand View Invitational on Sunday in a two-round competition against seven schools. The Warriors earned a pair of fourth-place finishes.
In the first round, Midland scored an 86.18 to place fourth. St. Ambrose finished first with a 94.25, followed by Grand View with an 89.12 and William Penn with an 88.38.
In the second round, Midland improved by 3.42 points, scoring an 89.60 to finish fourth again. St. Ambrose placed first with a 97.60, followed by Grand View at 91.50 and William Penn at 91.30.
The Warriors will host the Midland Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 21. The scheduled start time is 11 a.m. inside the Wikert Event Center.
