Warriors Finish Fourth in Orange City
ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Midland University traveled to Orange City, Iowa, to compete in the Northwestern Invitational, where the Warriors faced 10 opponents, eight of which were Great Plains Athletic Conference schools.
Midland took the mat for the second time this season, adding a few changes to its routine and improving its score from the previous week by 2.96 points. The Warriors posted a 78.83 to earn a fourth-place finish. The top three teams were Northwestern with a 90.90, Dickinson State with an 84.97 and Doane with an 84.97.
"They had a lot to be proud of tonight," said head coach Kayla Rojas. "We are going to keep working hard toward our goals and hope to continue to elevate our game."
Midland will have a quick turnaround, traveling to Des Moines, Iowa, to compete in the Grand View Invite on Sunday, Feb. 15.
