GPAC Releases Preseason Poll, Warriors Picked Second

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cheer Preseason Poll has been released. Midland University was picked to finish as the runner-up behind defending conference champion Northwestern College.

The Red Raiders tallied 49 points and seven (7) first-place votes, while Midland garnered 43 points and one first-place vote. Eight GPAC teams will compete this season in Cheer.

Midland will begin its season on February 8 at the Concordia Invite in Seward, Nebraska. The Warriors will host their annual invitational on Saturday, February 21, inside the Wikert Event Center in Fremont. For a complete look at the 2026 Midland Competitive Cheer Schedule, CLICK HERE.
