Warriors Gain Ground on Day Two; Claim Fifth at NWC Invite
ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Midland University traveled to Orange City, Iowa, to compete in the two-day Northwestern College Invite, placing sixth on the first day and fifth on the second day to finish fifth overall.
The Warriors faced nine teams each day, scoring 75.23 on day one to finish sixth. Dickinson State claimed first place with 94.48, followed by Northwestern (89.70), Dordt (77.57), Morningside (77.37), and Grand View (76).
On day two, Midland improved by 1.45 points, finishing fifth with a score of 76.68, surpassing Grand View, which dropped to sixth with 74.01. The Warriors' combined total of 151.91 secured a fifth-place overall finish.
Midland will take a week off before traveling to Sioux Center, Iowa, for the Dordt Invitational on Feb. 22.
