Warriors Sweep Weekly Conference Awards

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its baseball player and pitcher of the week for contests played February 10-16, 2025. Midland University swept the second week of awards with Jacob Liquori earning GPAC Player of the Week and Owen Kelley the GPAC Pitcher of the Week.

Liquori, a senior from San Jose, California, hit .667 at the plate this week as the Warriors played a four-game series at Louisiana Christian. In Midland's 4-2 win on Friday, he had a pair of hits and drove in two runs with a 2nd inning home run.

Kelley, a junior from Omaha, Nebraska, earned the Warriors' first win of the season this week. He pitched 6.0 innings at Louisiana Christian on Friday. He allowed five hits while allowing a pair of unearned runs and struck out three batters.
