2024 ACHA Women’s Division 1 Nationals Preview
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Teams from around the country will take the ice at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri for the 2024 ACHA Women's Division 1 National Championships. Midland University will join nine other teams and will be the second seed in the tournament, based on the final ACHA Computer Rankings.
The Warriors will begin play on Friday, March 16 with a quarterfinal game at 4:00 PM (CT). They'll face the second-lowest seed remaining after the first two days of the tournament. Teams are reseeded after each round.
Eight teams began play on Wednesday with the winners joining Midland and top-seeded Liberty in the quarterfinals. The four teams that lost their opening game will face each other on Thursday in elimination games. The lowest-ranked remaining winner faces Liberty and the second-lowest winner takes on the Warriors.
Following No. 1 Liberty and No. 2 Midland in the seedings are No. 3 Adrian, No. 4 Minot State, No. 5 Maryville, No. 6 McKendree, No. 7 Michigan-Dearborn, No. 8 Indiana Tech, No. 9 Michigan, and No. 10 Arizona State.
