Warriors Add McMurrich to 2024 Recruiting Class
FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University women's hockey head coach Jason White has announced the addition of Molly McMurrich to the 2024 recruiting class. Molly will join the Warriors this fall after spending this past season playing for the Dryden Eagles.
During her prep career, McMurrich has scored 53 goals and assisted on 27 others while playing in 49 games the past two seasons. This year, she totaled 50 points for the Eagle in 24 games, which led the Canadian High School Hockey (CAHS).
"Molly is a dynamic player that has the ability to score big goals. She is the captain of her team this year and is a natural leader who has a high-compete level," commented Coach White. "Molly is a high-end caliber player that will add scoring depth and skill next year."
Midland is set to begin play in the ACHA Women's Division 1 Nationals this week as the No. 2 seed. The Warriors enter the tournament with a 29-1-2 record, its best in program history. Their first game of the tournament will be on Friday, March 13 at 4:00 p.m. in St. Louis, Missouri.
