Larson Signs with Warriors for 2024-25 Season

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University head women's hockey coach Jason White has announced the signing of Makenna Larson. Makenna recently wrapped up her prep career playing for Willmar High School in Minnesota where she contributed to the Cardinals' success the past five seasons. She scored 45 goals and picked up 50 assists while playing 128 games.

"Makenna is a strong, mobile defenseman that will add size and strength to our backend," commented Coach White. "She has a heavy shot and she is blessed with the ability to play the game at a high level. Makenna's leadership along with her offensive talent and hockey sense will make her one of the top prospects in the ACHA W1 Division next year."

This season, Midland is currently 29-1-2 and ranked No. 2 in the ACHA Women's Division 1. The Warriors will be the 2nd seed in next week's ACHA National Tournament held in St. Louis, Missouri.
