Warriors Fall in Home Opening Weekend Series Against Drury

FREMONT, Neb. – For the first time this season, Midland University was on its home ice as it hosted Drury University for a two-game series this weekend in Fremont. Playing on the renovated rink inside Sidner Ice Arena, the Warriors dropped both games of a weekend series against the Panthers, losing 4-1 on Friday night and again 4-1 on Saturday inside Sidner Ice Arena.

FRIDAY: Drury 4, Midland 1

The Panthers took control early, scoring two first-period goals. The Warriors responded at the start of the second period when Jared Wisely found the back of the net at the 3:16 mark, assisted by Milan Breczko.
