Bio

Jeff Braun has served as Midland University’s Director of Athletic Communications and Assistant Athletic Director since August 2017. Prior to the promotion to the head of the athletic communications department, Braun was a sports information graduate assistant at Midland for two years.

Braun began his career in athletics as a junior high and high school coach, coaching basketball, football, and track and field in Kansas for over a decade. He also served as the Athletic Director of Deerfield High School and Rolla High School during that time. 

As a graduate assistant (2015-17), Braun helped grow the social media presence of Midland Sports, assisted in redesigning the athletic website, and aided in the implementation of Stretch Internet for home event broadcasts.

A native of Deerfield, Kansas, Braun graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, and completed his Master's of Science (Learning and Talent Development) from Midland in 2026.
