Bio

The 2013-14 Midland Men's Basketball Team finished the season ranked #2 in the NAIA Division Il postseason ranking after reaching the National Championship game for the first time in school history. The Warriors posted a 30-6 overall record, establishing a new school record for most wins in a season. For the season, Midland allowed 66.31 points per game, the lowest average in the GPAC and the 9th lowest average in NAIA Division II. Two players were named NAIA Division II National Tournament All-Tournament and NAIA Division II Honorable Mention All-America. Likewise, three players were named NAIA Scholar All-America and four players earned GPAC All-Conference honors, including two First Team All-Conference players, one Second Team All-Conference player, and one Honorable Mention All-Conference player. At the NAIA National Tournament, Midland won its first three games by an average of 5.7 points per game, defeating Embry-Riddle, St. Xavier, and Bethel, before blowing out Robert Morris in the semi-finals, 100-61. In the championship game, Midland lost to Indiana Wesleyan, 68-78. Head Coach Todd Eisner was named Rawlings-NAIA Division Il National Coach of the Year. The 2013-14 Midland Men's Basketball Team is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for their outstanding athletic accomplishments.
