Midland Dance Team Wins Two National Titles at NDA Championships

DAYTON BEACH, Fla. – Midland University traveled to Daytona Beach, Florida, to compete in the National Dance Association Championships, marking its first appearance in 10 years. The Warriors earned two national titles in NDA Pom and NDA Team Performance.

In the NAIA Pom preliminary round, Midland finished in first place with a score of 88.4857, ahead of Central Methodist University (82.5143) and Ottawa University Arizona (80.8286).

Midland delivered a strong performance in the finals to secure first place in the NAIA Pom division with a score of 88.487.

The Warriors also competed in NAIA Team Performance, where they led the preliminary round with a score of 88.05, ahead of Hope International University (84.75) and Oklahoma City University (85.275).

Midland went on to earn another strong performance in finals, finishing first with a score of 88.05 to claim its second national title at the NDA Championships.

"This past weekend at NDA Nationals was an incredible way to close out our competitive season. Our team truly rose to the challenge—embracing an extended schedule and stepping into a brand-new category. Watching them come together, push their limits, and reach new heights has been so rewarding. I couldn't be more proud of this group, and we're so excited to bring this tradition back to our program after 10 years away," said Erin Sibbald.
